Two Point Hospital

Fill every corridor with pictures on the walls, no wilting and will boost the attractiveness. I've started using small AC units in smaller rooms (3/4x3) as patient comfort comes from taking the heat off the air rather than turning the room into a fridge. 95% thermal comfort using small units then larger ones in the larger rooms/corridors.

You can just space the large ones further apart, but the main reason for using them was that the janitors seem to need to fix them a lot less often... initially I used all small heaters and it quickly got out of hand!

The good - copy and paste feature added. :)
The bad - I've just started Duckworth upon bilge :(
god i hated this level. 3 stars almost got the better of me. had to for a moment research cash at one hospital until 99%, to then finish it at this for 5 times in a row just to get some money back. by the end of it once level 16 was acheived, i just increased every staffs wage to max to get the morale up. iwill never return to this level ever.

Getting annoyed by the volcano level. Made sure I had 2 fire extinguishers in every single room, but the AI just blocks the janitors from getting to the machinery to put it out, which ended up with 3/4 of my machines exploding with everyone in the room.

Still needs a good couple of patches this, especially with the pathfinding. Pointless putting multiple screens in a large ward if the AI just forms a massive queue at one of them

I've just got the one left to get staff morale to 90% now. I've managed to get it up to 82% without whacking up their wages, but I'm starting to struggle to keep the money up so might have to do that just to get it finished.

Same level as me... My advice would be use the large air-con units exclusively - they seem to break down less and you don't need as many either... I'm sat just below 2 stars but struggling to hit the attractiveness requirement because all my plants keep wilting!!!

I suddenly noticed that I had hit all of the requirements for 3 stars other than attractiveness. Cue the pause button and plant spam :D. They survived long enough to allow me to complete the level. Onto the next level now next to the volcano, so far it is easier just because the layout is better.

Not a fun level at all. Can't be bothered to go back either, a really tedious level.

Still on Pillockan Wharf 2 star but finding it a struggle to continue playing at this point. I've got to cure 500 patients for a 3 star but I find myself just letting the game play out itself at this point. The last 4 or so maps have offered no new unlocks everytime you get a star and I've made it an objective to 3 star every hospital before moving on.

Hopefully the next hospital will offer some new challenges because it has been the same old startup routine for the past 5 maps.

It does get a bit same-y. A new illness and a new room, that's about it. The challenge is about the same. No new unlocks. Not many on my friends list have gotten this far either, so no challenges there.

The main thing I think they need to fix about the pathfinding is how it assigns jobs to the staff... as I've been waiting out the boring 3 stars on Grockle Bay I've been keeping a close eye on my janitors and it's no surprise I need so many! Take plants for instance, it feels like as soon as a plant "wilts" it gets assigned to be watered to the next available janitor... but that janitor could be on the other side of the hospital.... I've watched a Janitor take ~2 minutes at fast speed to water 3 plants because he literally walked from one end of the hospital to the other and back, passing multiple full bins, wilted plants, empty vending machines and rubbish on the ground on the way there each time... There needs to be some extra logic there, perhaps janitors outside of a certain range aren't originally considered to take a job, unless a certain amount of time passes with no nearer janitor responding... Or better still let the player designate zones and assign janitors to them...

Yeah totally agree with this. I clicked on a plant that needed watering earlier, there was a janitor in the same room watering another plant and he still wandered off and then somebody else came to water it. I think assigning Janitors zones would definitely be the best solution, assigning other staff roles makes sense but it just doesn't for Janitors.

you'll be finished in about 8 seconds so just wake it up and watch the morale climb.

I had been keen to try to get it done without just raising wages but I decided I'd spent far to long on this level and went for it, took seconds as you said. I should maybe mention this to my boss, so he is aware that all he needs to get really good staff satisfaction is to give us all a 25-30% pay rise.

:D

To be fair you're not cheating, it's a legit way to increase staff morale. I do this on other levels, as I get richer I pay staff when it hits a green smile, so this method is just the same, it's just done in one go.

Stop it physichull….no cannabis farms allowed in the hospital! Its not a legalised form of treatment!

Just finished Cucumberquequeque. Another very easy map from start to finish. Ignore the surgery double digit queues as it is because I just ran a large marketing campaign for it in order to speed up the very exciting 'Cure 1k Patients' objective. This, and the previous few maps were very dull and straight forward. There just isn't any challenge once you hit 100k in finances. You just need to carefully upgrade your rooms one at a time, whilst doing the same with your staff and before you know it - you're loaded and can let the game play itself.

Hospital Stats:
Age: 11yrs 5months
32x Doctors
18x Nurses
9x Assistants
11x Janitors

Ah I see you're an advocate of the "extremely ugly mega-optimised" style :p

I'm still on sweaty palms, my god those Volcanoes are annoying... but almost done. I agree about the challenge falling away for the most part once you get things rolling, the only thing that can sometimes take a while to get to where it needs to be is the very high cure rates. I don't recall the same being the case in the original game though, as I remember you could eventually just get so many patients it would cripple even the best hospital you could come up with...

Worse than that, I'd have a machine on fire... a level 3 machine no less... drop a janitor into the room to get him to fix it asap... he waters the plant or fixes the air-conditioner instead then leaves the room... wtf is going on I think to myself? So I pull up the staff list and see a Fire icon by one of my janitors, ah so he is the one coming to fix it, I click the icon and the view pans across to the other side of the hospital...

Okay I think, I'll speed him up by dropping him into the room... he waters the plant again... I check the staff list and it looks like picking him up and dropping him cancels his existing job... so I open up the staff menu again and click the new firefighter, he's across the opposite side too, even further away...

Machine explodes, RIP... it's infuriating
