Downsampling should be built into CCC/drivers. Game recording should be built into the AMD GE APP. That way its separate and is optional, like the GE APP.
 
You all should be pressing AMD to work with developers more reading the forums, the rest of stuff can be done better by third parties as they usually are. It's just giving AMD a free pass to take a passive stance the way you all always just scapegoat NVidia when something doesn't work right on AMD.

I'm pretty sure you're not on about the same thing.

Right, PC renders the game (The host), I want it visible, no IQ drop (Or as LITTLE as possible, I mean I could pretty much max out Steam Streaming's maximum bandwidth of 100mb/s over LAN) on my phone/tablet, being able to control the game via that phone/tablet (The client). Like Steam Streaming is now.

Hell, at the moment I'm not even fussed about controlling it through the tablet/phone, as I have a wireless controller, so native input's probably better.

Yeah i think we're talking about different things. I'm on about streaming it so people can watch me play BF4 on their computer, as an example.

Easy, any driver. Select custom install instead of express and untick the GE APP. Shame on you Uber for not knowing that Lol.

AMD seem to have a good relationship with most developers. Only in GameWorks titles are there problems and that's because the devs in question would often refuse to help or implement any amd optimizations that could improve things. Not much that can be done about that i don't think.

Yeah, I did say we weren't on about the same thing lol.
Because of Nvidias sheild, any applicable Nvidia card will work with modern android devices streaming a game to it.
 
I play on a 50" 1080p TV and don't play on changing that anytime soon so I would like downsampling support especially if I do end up getting another 280x for my system

Doesn't let you untick the option, believe me I've tried!!

With 2 290s and just a res of 2560x1080 I can just whack anything upto max, don't need that bloody app! lol

Really, ive done it before. :confused: Mind you ive been using it for a while now so have not tried it recently.
 
whats point in downsampling when every1 wants 4k? :)

i dont like ur list matt!
id like see gfx switching
was it lucid or whatever that did that?
and last time i tried it, it sucked
or zero fan mode in 2d
bios edit built into drivers
or just more power :p
 
That's another reason I'd love a streaming thing, my phone is higher ppi than your typical 28" 4k monitor :p.

I know it's apples to oranges, but the IQ you're going to get off 440 ppi is insane at lossless.

I setup an account as its needed with the GE APP but i couldn't get it working at the time. Maybe i was doing something wrong. I think it was APP related rather than twitch related as i couldn't get the APP overlay to display.

Its never been an issue for me, i have always been able to untick it, not once has that app ever graced my PC.
