Hi,

deciding tonight whether to return my 27" the backlight bleed isnt as bad as others but its still prety bad especially bottom left. on a positive note not noticed any dead pixels. The build quality is cheap to say the least. One thing a review i read yesterday states the rrp is £299 including vat so I was expecting a £400 quality monitor as thats what overclockers stated was the original price a little sneaky wasnt it upping the price then bringing it back tp rrp to make it look a bargain? or was the review wrong?

I've noticed that too. The plastic casing on mine looks like it's been cut by hand, lots of rough edges, left over bits of plastic. How this is a rebadged LG I don't know.

Company's put higher prices to make it look like a bargain done all the time in Furniture shops and Clothes shops, that's why they where on watch dog for putting prices a lot higher than the item was worth in the first place so customers think its a great bargain when actually its just what its worth in the first and there not saving any money at all.

I would like to say i am not saying overclockers are doing this but it happens.

I'm in the same boat. Looks okay compared to the others posted, but backlight bleed is still pretty bad. Also saw that review stating a £300 rrp...

You got any pictures of you backlight bleed? I'm not really sure on what's considered as 'good' or 'acceptable' with these 1440p monitors

I just decided to not get a replacement for mine just want a refund now, also added rageness DPD decided to go before I gave them the parcel. I have to now rearrange it for the 3rd.
