TX 650W Corsair

will this be enough for i2500K oced to 4ghz-5ghz, 2x 6950s(unlocked to 6970, poss a 3rd 6950/6970 in the future), 128gb crucial m4, 1tb samsung f3/f4, possible dual loop watercooling system(if I have the money/can be bothered with the time it'' take to install it)? :)

I can't believe this they're just trying to get more money out of you.

Well thermaltack said 630ish and corsair are saying 950w+

I would wait on ocuk's response.

Stulid is the man, and I would go with what he says.

Thing is, the PSU is the main component of a build. Like a battery on a car, dead battery, dead car. So you only want to buy it once. Me personally I would be looking at 750W minimum so you have head room.

850W is a sweet spot.

That thread you linked to has people suggesting 650W onwards, with a few saying 700W and 750W

Which goes back to my orginal statement.

Only 650W! Wow!

If it was MY rig, i would go for a 750 and then you have headroom. For upgrades etc.

But 650W should be ok,

This thread has been busy!

My system with watercooling pulls 500w from the mains using the plug-in adapter.

I was running Prime and Furmark together.
