Nothing wrong with heinz beans :D

My mate has a really clean DC5 for sale, want me to trust you his details? :)

As much as I want to say yes, I really can't justify it with work situation being a bit precarious currently.

The Slowvo S40 D5 I replaced my one with isn't exactly a slouch, but it's just not the same! Sofa-like wafting around a road doesn't compare to a screaming NA engine and fantastic LSD. I've been toying with the idea of getting a (cheap) EP3 for the time being, but I know I won't enjoy it as much and constantly compare it to my old DC5 and just get disappointed by it. C'est la vie.

Have you seen how cheap EP3's are getting these days? I'm sure you can get one just to scratch the itch and later on down the line upgrade to a DC5 again? :)

My current one was cheap and is a good car, it's not a patch on my old one bodywise, which to be fair is bothering me... but I am going to tighten up the front suspension a bit (bushes, ball joints etc) and perhaps sort some dings and a front bumper respray/bonnet respray but there's some good ones out there on the cheap. Still a great driving motor. Mines on 110k and to be fair goes like stink, it feels quicker than my old one and I've had faster cars in between my 2 EP3's. Do it :)

I seem to have an intermittent wobble/feedback through both the chassis and wheel on my FN2 at different speeds and intermittently from what I can tell.

It also seems to disappear if I accelerate through it - I think!

The wheels have been balanced and checked again recently and they are apparently all okay.

Last time the wobble/feedback occurred between 40/50 and I've noticed it at 80+ (on a private track of course).

I dipped the clutch when it last happened and it persisted, so I've been led to believe this suggests speed related, as opposed to transmission.

Any thoughts anyone? Wheels?

Bought a S2000 not long ago with a ripped roof. Managed to find a genuine roof and standard exhaust for it in excellent condition for £50. Started the process of swapping it over yesterday and managed to finish it today, a good 8 hours of labour, such a ball ache to do!

Much better! :)

Has anyone here had any experience with Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE002 tyres? I figured this was probably the best place to ask as I think they do them in DC2 etc sizes.

They seem very good value, just wondering if they are a similar tyre to RE050A etc?

Good grip, poor response. They are cheap though and you always end up getting what you pay for.

It's tyre size thats limiting me not price. From a quick look at tyres in 205/55 R16 size looks like I have very limited options. Michelin PS3 or the Bridgestone RE002.

I currently use Eagle F1 AS2's which I've been happy with but I am changing wheel size.

If you're happy with F1 AS2 then you will be happy with RE002.

Why? they are completely different tyres.

You get what you pay for within tyre size. But don't compare across sizes. Tyres like 225/45/17 are cheap in all sizes
