u21 england squad racially abused

FIFA/UEFA don't care. They don't care about racism and they don't care about cheating. All they care about are atrocities such as questioning referee decisions and celebrating with your shirt off.

The FA are full of their own s*** too. If they were that worried about racism in the game they woul dhave thrown the book at Terry and Ferdinand but chose not to by imposing slap on wrist punishments. So the FA can get out of town too as they vehement protests to UEFA to ban the serbs are hypocritical considering they didn't exactly come down hard on racist incidents in their own domestic league.

Barton got longer for violent assault, so I guess the FA think racism isn't as bad as giving someone a minor slap up ???

And you would have died or started a riot. Giving them exactly what they wanted. More likely you would have kept quiet.

Is it acceptable, no. Giving them the reaction they crave isn't very smart either.

Why on earth should anyone stand there and be mocked for a prolonged period because of their colour and accept it? He was visibly upset by it all, his action was after the game ended and I don't blame him for letting his feelings known. He took out his frustration on a football, unlike the Serbian fans who took it out on someone because of their skin colour.

If someone tied you up and stood there for an hour and a half poking you in the face saying "annoyed yet?" repeatedly you'd react when you could. If you were in the supermarket and your child was screaming full tilt for that amount of time it'd drive you nuts and eventually you'd lose your temper. Anyone would, this is similar. Patience can only last so long.

It isn't though. Physically hurting someone is worse than emotionally hurting them in my book. I'd rather be called a 'cracker' than receive a punch in the face wouldn't you?

Both of course are abhorrent but I do think we over-hype racism to more than it is, which is essentially just name calling.

I feel sorry for black players who have to put with that tripe, but I feel just as bad for other players who have to put up with offensive songs about their physical features or wives too.

David Beckham puts up with 90 minutes of entire crowds saying his wife is anorexic and takes it up the **** and very little is said in the media. A player receives a racially motivated slur by one fan (like tthe incident a few months back with the Liverpool player) and it's all over the back pages for weeks with people like Clark Carlise being trotted out to tell everyone else how this one guy reflects society.

To me the differences in reactions should be similar.

I imagine he means Suarez/Liverpool.

Not wihsing to re-open the can of worms but both Evra and the FA report stated Suarez wasn't a racist

People feel the need to be morally outraged by racism though

Clark Carlise

its perfectly acceptable for him to be a drunk driver however

Ready for this?

Serbian FA denies any forms of racism towards England U21s and says Danny Rose behaved in "inappropriate, unsportsmanlike & vulgar manner"

On an unrelated matter, just read an article about City being fined £25,000 for coming out a minute late for the start of the second half in a game last season. Priorities!

The same as any other player that recieves abuse for 90 minutes and has to get on with it. Or does it only hurt feelings and wind people up if it's colour?

Is it any worse than other offense directed at players that they have to take? I'm sure if tonight the poles sing songs about how ugly rooney is or his wife is a **** or his son a retard and he lashed out people on this forum would not be saying the poor lad got to breaking point.

Football fans will turn a blind eye to this sort of abuse because it's 'banter'.

Don't let facts get in the way of a good story

People turning a blind eye to mocking someone's disabled child? You joking?

Does he even have a child, let alone a disabled one?

You're all wrong... There was no racism...

The Serbian FA has denied there was any racism towards the England Under-21 team in Tuesday's Euro 2013 play-off.

And officials also blamed England's Danny Rose for clashes at the end of the game through "inappropriate, unsportsmanlike and vulgar" behaviour.

Earlier Rose, 22, had called for Serbia to be "banned", claiming he had been racially abused during the game.

But the Serbian FA said there was a "spirit of fair play on the pitch and in the stands".

It was all a misunderstanding - Clearly they were throwing the coins to tip the players for the quality of their football!

EDIT: Page has since been updated!

The fact their own FA doesn't see the issue should be all the evidence needed to get Serbia banned from international competition.

The Serbian coaches comments were hardly helpful either...

Serbia under-21 coach Aleksandar Jankovic says his side have nothing to apologise for after ugly scenes marred their meeting with England.

Clashes flared up after Connor Wickham's late strike sent England through to under-21 Euro 2013 finals, while Danny Rose was dismissed for his furious reaction to racist abuse from the crowd in Krusevac.

But Jankovic believes his side have 'nothing to be ashamed of' following the controversial end to the game, insisting the English players should simply be happy they have qualified.

"Apologise for what?" Jankovic asked reporters. "It takes two to have a fight. You should be happy that England qualified. We can discuss that and analyse what happened. Let's talk about football."

They should ban them, they won't.

Joke as always, UEFA/FIFA are cowards who won't tackle a real issue for fear of upsetting people.

Utterly disgraceful that they even try to deny, Youtube footage from the match proves your wrong about the fans who can clearly be heard monkey chanting and another video that clearly shows serbian players kicking people

so the serbian FA are saying its danny roses fault for being black and getting 90 minutes abuse

all we need now is a picture of the hilarious iraqi war spokesman saying 'there is no racism here' as he is obviously now in the employ of the serbian FA
