Ubisoft - How much longer can they get away with this 'downgrading'?

@Nexus18 didn't you and midget have this argument in The Division thread before it released? That turned okay good, if a little boring and grindy until patch 1.3.

If we go back and address the actual OP here...this is what is going to (continue to) happen...

1) Some people that get their entertainment from message board meltdowns will continue to pore over game trailers and tell each other how awful everything is
2) The vast majority of people will use their own common sense before buying games, try the open betas, read reviews or whatever, and keep on buying the games they want to buy

And to add to this:

3. People will make silly statements after release like the following:

all the 'downgrade' and 'bullshot' hysterics proved to be just plain false.

4. When asked why they think this, they will ignore said posts/questions

5. The vast majority of gamers/customers will still continue to pre-order based on misleading gameplay footage, essentially giving the thumbs up to publishers/developers to continue to do this and get away with it whilst they laugh all the way to the bank

:D

What an absolute car crash of a thread. 9 pages of know it all's banging on about nothing.

LOL "You don't know how the game industry works",
"Yes I do",
"Know you don't"

For 9 whole pages really? get a grip for god sake.
