Hello,
I have an HDD and when I go in ubutu it claims it has bad sectors, no other application reports any problems though.
It would explain why my windows wouldn't boot sometimes from that HDD (now reinstalled on SSD) and I think it corrupts my data as I keep getting Civilization 5 crashes over time and when I verify game cache there's always 1 file which fails and needs to be re-downloaded.
However, no other app reports any problems, smart data looks okay:
Just made defraggler ''check drive for errors'' and it found none ( didn't do the windows one as it wants to unmount the drive and Steam is on that drive...).
Does the smart data look okay ? How come does Ubuntu say there are bad sectors but nothing else does ?
