UEFA Champions & Europa League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [16th - 18th Feb 2021]

I'm not sure why you would label Rashford as "billy big cahones". He's one of the most unassuming and humble young footballers you could meet. If you wan't to criticise his finishing or decision making then fair enough but I don't see any hint of a bad attitude from him. In his defence I don't think he is a number 9, at least not yet but he's seldom playing in that role at the moment. I think his decision making can improve but he's still a young player and has a greater work rate than Martial and is not a poorer finisher. Attitudinally I'd have bigger questions over the frenchman. The problem for United is that they aren't creating enough chances. Cavani has had 1.3 chances per game. Michael Antonio at West Ham has over two and Kane >3 (in a Jose team). So every time a Rashford or a Martial or a Greenwood misses it feel pivotal to the result.

He seems like a great lad but he is far too greedy and ignores players in far better positions because he wants to score. He does this A LOT. The best players put the team first and he doesn't a lot of the time. As to Martial, thats a topic for another day but he should be sold in the summer.

Huh? Cantona and Fernandes get a **** ton of credit? Am I missing something here?

People forget that we were nothing without Cantona in our early days. The same with Fernandes. It's that old adage when people say "what would a team do without so and so player". Teams going back 30 years have relied on star players. It is what makes them winners. Unlike City where you just buy two world class teams :p.

Basically what I am trying to say is that people saying we are rubbish without Bruno are implying that we have never been like that before whereas in reality we were when Cantona lead us to two league doubles.
