It's like refs go out of their way to make bad decisions against Ronaldo because he's Ronaldo. We've seen it all season. Start the game he was shoved over and nothing given.
 
Carrick has done exactly what you want, steadied the rot. It's not been a great performance but we've looked far more solid and we've improved as the game has gone on.
 
Give Carrick a ten year contract quick, before he gets snapped up by a top team!
 
Oh shut up Savage. Not every performance under Ole was complete **** and its 1-0 after a mistake from Villareal. Hardly a complete turnaround.
 
Happy for the lad. Sancho has been good tonight. Waiting for the running mans grovelling apology.
 
That'll do nicely. Not a good performance (except the last 10 mins), but a good result and some confidence for Sancho is great news.

I can't see any evidence of Carrick doing anything. Same kind of unconvincing inconsistent performance that was a hallmark of Ole's reign.

Don't get me wrong, I'll take the win though.
