Why he decides to go with Rashford up front with Ronaldo when we have Greenwood and Cavani on the bench is baffling, both are much better finishers.

Rashford and Ronnie are both left sided as well. It makes no sense. If you are going to play that formation you have Bruno in the middle of the three, Ronaldo on the left side and Either Cavani, Sancho or Greenwood on that right hand side. Rashford should be no where near the starting eleven in this current formation whilst Ronaldo is playing.

I actually think against an opposition that plays like this it's a credible tactic to consider. They press quite high and United aren't going to pass their way through it. United need to get back in the game and I don't care how at this stage.

Surely if that's a performance related swap it would be for Pogba. vdB hasn't had huge chances but that tell you that maybe he ain't all that.
