UEFA Champions & Europa League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [5th - 7th April 2022]

That's nearly as bad as Kepa failing to save 11 penalties in a row and then blasting one over after being subbed on specifically for penalties in a cup final whilst trying to taunt the penalty takers

Nearly

Ties not over after the Chelsea/RM game. Would still give Chelsea decent odds of coming through the return leg.

Missed a couple of good chances and gifted RM a goal.

There is nuance in it though. Its about the quality of the chance the striker would have had. A free shot on the 6 yard line is different to a shot at the corner of the box. It wasn't a great goal scoring opportunity. Very harsh red

It's a goal scoring opportunity tho...great or not he still only has to beat the keeper.

It's soft, Dembele knew what he was doing but he's pulled at his arm. He's asking for it.

Yea, its a chance i suppose. But the best refs wont swing a game on that type of chance. You book Cresswell and make a note that any small infringement or foul is a 2nd yellow.

If you’re booking him then you’re giving a foul and he’s one and one I really don’t see how he can only give a yellow. He’s wide but not wide enough.

Ref does seem to favour Lyon tho.

Nice to see we are all over cat gate though lol

Worth watching again. Ball running away to the corner flag...hmm...it has to be a worldy to score
