UEFA Champions & Europa League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [5th - 7th November 2024]

You're still covering all his wages from what I know. Money down drain for him to sit on bench for the reason you've said especially if you need to try for a goal.
no we arent chelsea are paying the majority of it :D

James Olley reports for ESPN that Arsenal are paying such a small proportion of Raheem Sterling's £325,000-a-week Chelsea wages that his parent club will have to pay him around £10m over the course of his season in north London.

Spurs getting a bit overwhelmed...
Yep. Angeball has not worked tonight. To be fair , based on the final 20 mins of that half I thought Galatasaray were pretty good and Osimhen showed why is is one of the top rated strikers in. Europe. Two beautiful finishes from him not to mention an absolute raker of a first goal. Spurs lucky to be only 2 down.

I know we sometimes say a side could be 5 or 6 up/down and it's a bit of an exaggeration but Spurs genuinely could be 5 goals down and they'd still be fortunate not to be losing by more.

Man Utd XI: Onana; Mazraoui, Lindelof, Evans, Dalot; Casemiro, Ugarte; Diallo, Fernandes, Garnacho; Hojlund.

Evans and Lindelof starting.
Pleased Diallo is starting. I hope he can have an impact but I expect more of the same turgid ten Hag ball. Mount and Antony back on the bench. No doubt Mount will ocme on for ten minutes so he can pick up another injury.

Hopefully Yoro is back soon also.

Desperately need those attackers to find their scoring boots.

Penalty surely? Fetch the VAR

No penalty! Hard to be sure of the contact level but he steps across him
