You've also got to realise that the best and some would say only time you can write off a player is before they do well.

Well its been a dire performance, even by our already wobbly standards this season. It really could have been 7-1. Diaz by far and away our best player but the rest...well the rest look like a team who have never played together and are still learning each others names..and good god do we look slow. Especially in midfield.

He's played 230 minutes of football with Liverpool and not in front of a full strength midfield.

2 goals and 1 assist in 5 (230 ish mins) games including tonight.

I have my doubts about him for sure but im not going to judge a guy whos come into a side which appear to be having some mini crisis and are absolutely dead in midfield.
