UEFA Champions & Europa League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [7th - 9th March 2023]

Either **** VARing or just as likely, a stupid rule that says its only a handball if the player who handles it scores.
Bit mental either way. The lad places his arm at his side and the ball clearly rolls down it after hitting his chest. If his arms not there he loses control of the ball.

I assume it isn't handball because it hits his chest first. It also looks like it hits him around his shirt sleeve so it's debatable. I don't think it rolls down his arm personally.

The way some are going on in here you'd think he's thrown it in the net.

A few players may be starting to suffer, it's United 43rd game since the opening game of the season where as Betis have only played 33, not to mention the fixture congesture of the last month.

Exactly where the hell is Martial, he needs to come back pronto. McSauce and Sancho need to be used more to allow for player rotation.

Cannot wait for Eriksen to come back but that's a good 6-8 weeks away thanks to that filthy scum Andy Carroll :(.

The funny thing is that he quite literally uses both arms to make a "bumper" to make sure he controls it if it doesn't bounce just how he would like. Utterly baffling. Thats not a natural position for your arms. Oh well. VAR is a mess so its not unexpected.

Rashford is going through one of his phases where the ball doesn't do quite what he would like. He needs to know when to simplify his game a little and pass more.
