UEFA Champions League 6/7 December *** Spoilers ***

Klose isn't a better player than Rooney, talent wise. Klose is just used more effectively in a specific role due to his attributes. Rooney because of his talent gets pulled all over the pitch. For Germany Klose plays with great teammates, they know they can cross and find him and vice versa. England play a different possibly inferior way due to less technically capable players.

You seem to be under the impression that I'm obligated to make the point you want me to make, rather than errm, the one I want to make.

Your stats are slightly off, they are contextually inaccurated. After I posted saying Klose was world class, you and IIRC 2 other posted around the same time with a similar "gist" of your posts seem to refute the statement that Klose was great.

If you're going to clearly state what I posted was wrong then you need to back it up otherwise your post is not worth paying attention to.

And again, what context is needed with what I posted? You claimed Klose was still scoring 1 in 2, implying that's the rate he's scored at throughout his career. I posted some stats from wiki that suggest he hasn't scored at a rate close to that. It's a matter of fact, it's either right or wrong.

I didn't give an opinion either way on whether Klose was a great player or not.

Interestingly klose international record isn't much better than crouchio. plus Klose had some stat padding games against Saudi Arabia or somethin which really boosted his numbers.

Hey guys, I want to go with a friend to see a match at Stamford Bridge of the Last 16 of the CL. With Chelsea being the group winners will they play their home game in Feb 14-22 or March 6-14? I want to obviously go watch their home game.

Also after the fixtures are announced how long will it take before tickets go on General sale? And are there any decent one or just the crappy ones left over from the Season ticket holders?

I know this sounds weird but I have never been at that stadium :p

Without revisiting seeding or wealth distribution, however, it was a feeble idea - establishing a raft of over-promoted inferiors unable to hold their own against the secure elite.

Wait a second, didnt Basel, and some other club APOEL both qualify for the next round? Sure someone cops a pasting every now and again, but im sure that was the case back in the day when someone like IFK Gothenburg coming to Old Trafford one could expect a 5-1 scoreline at least?

Pending on the opposition, someone like Apoel or Basel tickets will probably go on general sale. Just keep on checking the website for ticket news and you may be lucky for their to be tickets even if Chelsea face a stronger team, the last round game against Valencia went on general sale for instance but only for a couple of days. Normally there are a few seats still available in the Matthew Harding lower which is a stand behind the goal where Chelsea fans rarely ever sit down in European games so you'll have a good time there is you're tall :D

Does anyone have a website with the panoramic view of Stamford Bridge? Like really crystar clear image of the stadium so I can see the seat numbers and stands. I know some football clubs have something like that so it's easier to choose tickets but I can't find Chelsea's stadium anywhere!

Just for a heads up, wherever you sit your view will be obscured by plastic flags.

Just click on block you've got/hope to get tickets for and it'll show you your view.

edit: Actually that's pretty useless. I've just checked it and I think there's only 4 different pictures to cover the entire stadium.

Cheers Baz, gives me an idea of the stadium!

But yeah for a standard like Chelsea they should really improve that website, indeed there's like 4 pictures and you can't even find your row and seat number as it's all jumbled up..

i just had to laugh at that, fergie finally got a reality check. united only went out because they didn't take there teams in the group serious they didn't go out because of injury in the very last game, they went out cos fergie fielded his 2nd team to play there games in the CL, no doubt if united played there strongest team every time in the CL they would not have went out guaranteed.
