UEFA Champions League/Europa League 12/13/14 April *** Spoilers ***

Barce/Madrid should be a cracking game. The former should be a formality, but eh, we'll see.

Well they play each other on Saturday in the League and then again on Wednesday in the Cup. If Barca play like they did earlier in the season in the next 2 matches then Real may as well not turn up for the CL matches.

Pathetic by Chelsea, gutless performance, Kalou? Get the feeling a russian hitman will be hunting him down tomorrow. I've never seen a pacey attacking player put so little effort into a game like this, he came on, closed no one down, barely jogged around the pitch, his passing and running with the ball was embarassingly poor but, coupled with the utter utter lack of effort.

I think Denilson, Song are pathetic but at least they try, I can't fault them for that.

Torres wasn't actually horrible, Chelsea looked better in the first half than for 20-25 mins of the second half, though Drogba was easily Chelsea's best player.

Also Ramires other than being rubbish and really just fouling a lot, was clearly in danger of a red card, why on earth take off Anelka, who for the best part of 3 seasons has played on the right wing, rather than Ramires?

Utd again weren't really very good, they weren't bad, they barely looked like they were trying for most of the game.

Drogba, was ruddy impressive, his ability to turn his player and get a shot in, even if the shots weren't the best, great chest control/run/calmness for his goal and was making things happen whenever he had the ball. Other than Drogba, no one else was playing anywhere near the level required to win that game, or the whole champs league, and only 5-6 other people would be good enough if in form.

Chelsea were just devoid of any tactics and the better team won on the night. Man U versus Spain should make for a great final.

Trouble with Anelka is he does not stay out there, all the first half he was in the centre of the pitch.

I would have taken off Malouda and brought on Kalou who usually looks up for the game but he was stood at the touch line looking like he couldn't really be bothered at all!

Chicharito deserved both goals imo, Chelsea didnt do enough to win.

Thats without the two professional fouls and double yellows they got away with

Roll on Shalke (or Inter)

Soooo, does anyone fancy united to do the treble?

I'd say it's likely if they get Real in the final (assuming you get past Schalke), we've obviously bottled the premier league and there's no major threat in the FA Cup.

Double looking likely, I would agree for the Champions League to happen we'd need Real to knock out Barca (and José has the formula) and then do a number on them in the final which is no easy task in itself obviously, but I think it'd be easier than a repeat of our last final with Barcelona.

They'll most probably face Barca in the final, I think they will either nick it and I mean really bye the skin of their teeth, and that's only if they have a fully fit side with Vidic and Rio at the back. But they way Barcelona have been this season they would probably wipe the floor with them. Against Madrid in the final though, it's very do-able. Would be a lot easier than Barca.

Top performance from us tonight, In retrospect Chelsea needed to score in the first 25 mins when they were on top. After that I think we started to assert an element of control.

Rooney, carrick, giggs, Ferdinand all great but plaudits to everyone tonight.

probably about right although Rio limping and staying on the field was as frightening as a fit J Evans in some ways lol

Well done to all XI on the pitch (I wont even think about VDS outside the box a few times lol )
