Really missed Samaras. He's not great in the spl but in the big games where he gets more space he really does count for us.

As anoyed as I am with the ref and the manhandling in the box, tbf, even if Celtic where at that till midnight I doubt we would have scored.

lol at the supporting Celtic blindly ignoring their fouling while condemning Juve.
In the first half when the Hooper went down, in the replay you can quite clearly see hooper wrap his arm around the back of the Juve player then throw himself down, but failed to take the Juve guy down with him, that was nothing but a dive. There was at least one more dive in the box, that gif, its not clear, and the Juve guy was still a girl, but he shoved Brown because Brown stood on his foot, and he shoved brown with one arm, not very hard and Brown toppled over backwards. If it had been anyone else I might have sympathy but he was kicking out at every Juve player, forcing contact, a couple nasty tackles, he's a thug.
Aside from that Celtic were excellent up the field pressing but Ambrose is it at the back, freaking awful and ironically also had their best chance and fluffed that as well. Terrible for the first and third goals. The pressing by the front men deep into Juve's half was very very impressive, and their passing was frequently excellent, the tempo they kept up for the entire game, there was a hell of a lot impressive about that performance except the finishing.
But pretending like Brown is a saint and that Juve players were the only ones fouling in the box is a joke.

Found the Celtic game entertaining if anything and the PSG game was quite boring until Ibra got himself sent off lol.
Looks like Celtic are more or less out, cant see them getting 3-4 goals at Juve to be honest. Good game but for all that possession and dominating Juve in the middle of the park, they couldnt get a goal. Im no huge fan of Juve and the way they were bossed around by Celtic was laughable, Pirlo was completely taken out of the game.

Technically hands raised and into the face though is it not? Imo after the first yellow they both got they could both have been send of 30 seconds later for doing exactly the same thing.

Rafael is going to need to play the game of his life tonight to keep up with Ronaldo.
Due to the fact he is hugging him it is pretty hard to push of else where, especially if you're trying to play football.
Although the one he shoved Brown and then dived Brown should've been booked for standing on his foot so I've read, would have assumed Brown was just being his typical nobbish self had the guy not been being a prat the entire match.
Anyways, the guy clearly impeded Hooper while he is trying to push off him, but he got baited pretty hard by Brown into shoving him but the dive after was pathetic.
Celtic got what they deserved, same with Liverpool although perhaps Celtic deserved at least a pen for all that fouling at corners/crosses, but italian teams get away with what they want. Also Neil Lennon is clearly thick in the head playing that Nigerian CB less than two days after playing in a ACoN game, I mean seriously how stupid can you be.
Problem is, if Ronaldo is up for it there is absolutely nothing he can do.
