Yeah it was pretty crap from boateng for that. He should have slid in or at least faced it down.

I would say partly that but partly the style, Barca's defence looked incredibly suspect with Guardiola in charge. Pique I still don't rate, but he's not as bad as he was 4 years ago. Alves is back to looking like he can defend a bit.

The Mascherano bear hug the commentator said they were both at it because Lewan had his arms around his shoulder and neck. Firstly they weren't around his neck and his arms were only up because Mascherano had his arm around him holding him that close to him, where else are his arms going to be. Not convinced it's a penalty but ridiculous to suggest Lewan was holding Mascherano.

Lewan's finish, with that much time he should have given the keeper absolutely no chance at all. Muller, one poor shot, some other pretty great moments. Turning a meh cross into a header that almost managed to sneak into the corner, great save there.

Lahm, still not sure why he's in midfield, their defence is floundering with a lack of quality, you have the worlds best right back, turn him into the worlds most average wide attacker instead.

Alonso... at his best he was too slow to play as a defensive midfielder against a trio of Suarez, Messi and Neymar, let alone at 48 or whatever he is now. Hell Rakitic is a out of his league pace wise. Mostly a passenger, mostly just fouling again, couldn't follow Neymar for the goal, didn't match the run... couldn't have matched it anyway.

Poor tactics, poor transfer activity, poor attacking, poor defending.
 
Enjoyerd this game so far really open end to end stuff. I hate these phases in offside though. Neymar gained a clear advantage starting in an offside position.

Old days he would have been interfering with play or seeking to gain an advantage. It worked perfectly and you knew where you stood with it.
 
Excellent goal.

I've got no doubt this tie would've been very close if Robben and Ribery had played and a complete whitewash for Bayern if Barcelona were as handicapped with injuries.
 
Barca are just paying the price for pretty much giving up on the game in this second half.
