UEFA Champions League/Europa League 14/15/16 February *** Spoilers ***

Typical away performance in Europe, strangely I thought given this is the wafa cup we wouldn't approach it the same way we do the UCL dunno why. Hernandez deserved his goal, Young certainly didn't deserve his :p

He was but he got injured again almost straight away didn't he, and frankly you can tell from just about every touch, he's a class above anyone you had when he got injured, he's got the same football brain as Scholes and will be a natural replacement for him.

Not sure about that. Positionally maybe but he's a completely different kind of midfielder to Scholes. Cleverley looks at his best in and around the edge of the penalty area with his one touch play, I dont think he's got the same passing range or ability to dictate play from deep that the likes of Scholes has.

For all Cleverley's classy one touch play Carrick had much more of an impact on the game. This may be somewhat of a knee jerk reaction but I'm not sure if Carrick & Cleverley is going to work afterall given where Carrick plays and where Cleverley wants to be. Earlier in the season when Cleverley was playing he was in there with Anderson another player that wants to be high up the pitch (I guess a reason why we were so open at the start of the season).

Valencia's done his hamstring and will be out for a month, time for Nani and Young to step up in his absence
