UEFA Champions League/Europa League 14/15/16 February *** Spoilers ***

Bar the first 15-20 minuets City have been by far the better of the two teams. They'll have no problem doing Porto at home

considering Fabio, Cleverley, Young and Nani all havent played for some time the first half wasnt much of a surprise (although De Gea made one brilliant save), but the team stepped up the pace and movement in the 2nd half and deserved that result - really sorry to hear Valencia's out for a month (according to SAF) after his brillant month or two back in the team.

Shocking first corner by Nani (where it went straight out lol), but good assist for Young's goal - Cleverley looked excellent throughout his 60 minutes or so, glad to see him back, and good to see he wasnt risked for too long. Chicharito also looked good, even if some of the passing to him was off. Fabio looked good for the most part, although his slip could have been costly

Eriksen looked good from tonight's showing as did a few of Ajax's team, although mostly youngsters (and some of them REALLY looked like kids lol)

City through

Very good play by Yaya

Yaya got a bit of a break then after the ACoN final - lol

Yeah, there were loads of soft yellows. He was card happy!

I had money on Citeh, so started getting worried when every midfielder (bar Silva) had a yellow, ha. I thought it was especially harsh when De Jong got one for leaving the wall early .
I cant believe that no one got sent off really!

I mean the card Barry got was just madness.

Was a great win though against a very good team and a biased ref :p, also having watched Hulk for the first time not on YouTube he really didn't impress. For someone that big it doesn't take a lot for him to go down. The cross he put in was good however.

sounds like he hasnt improved since Utd played them in the CL several years ago then :D

I thought our performance against Ajax was a good one. Nothing spectacular but we got the job done in a clinical fashion. It was good to see Cleverley back, though I felt he was absent at times but that is expected as he hasn't played for a while.

I can't see them coming back at Old Trafford.

I thought Man City did well against Porto, the first half was a disaster but they gathered themselves and fought back very well.
