UEFA Champions League/Europa League 14/15/16 February *** Spoilers ***

This formation is pathetic, as has been the performance thus far. Wenger talked about playing with audacity before the match, citing that the rules favoured attacking away from home and trying to put a few on the scoresheet, so he then goes ahead and tries some weird 4-2-3-1 formation with Rosicky and Walcott starting. :confused:

Arshavin came off the bench and made an immediate impact on the weekend, why not start him and start AOC on the right? Walcott has been nothing but useless for virtually the entire season/career, Song isn't a good defensive minded player and shouldn't even be asked to perform the role and there's no way that audacity and Rosicky should be mentioned in the same sentence.

Oh, here we go, Koscielny injured too.
 
Milan haven't been anything special, Arsenal have just been really sluggish and poor. Saying that english clubs are crap is jumping the gun a little.
 
Arsenal in being so scared are making Milan look like they are playing better than they actually are for me. Got to change the shape and at least try and go for it second half.
 
Milan are playing well as much as arsenal are badly. They are stopping arsenal getting in the match, breaking the play up and putting pressure on them.
Ibrahim, robinho and kpb all look pretty lively and ibra is playing some nice football, great passing.
 
Why can't we just play with two strikers? I'm sick of watching this lone front man formation, we've had it for years and it just doesn't work, it isn't effective against any half decent defensive setup but then we hammer an absolutely woeful team like Blackburn and that suddenly makes everything "better"... :/
 
Really? Get to the ball first, win it, get clattered by an obscenely late goalkeeper and book for your troubles. Ridiculous. Much like arsenal have been all half
 
What an embarrassing performance. They all look scared. Very few players asking for the ball, no link up play between the full backs and wingers, passing it to Milan every time they get the ball, look devoid of ideas. Why is Rosicky playing when he's done nothing but play badly for 2 years? Walcott might as well not be on the field either... in fact everyone has been as bad as the 8-2 against United. They might as well have not turned up the way they've played the first 45mins, we should probably be about 4 or 5 behind but have gotten lucky.
 
Have Arsenal got 11 players on the pitch? Van Persie appears to be upfront on his own so I'm assuming they have 5 in midfield. If that's the case where the hell are they? Milan look like they have an extra man whenever they attack.
