Ngog really is poor in my opinion. Flashes of talent here and there but nowhere near good enough.

Shame our European adventure has to end for another season but we deserve to go out. We've lacked any real creativity in midfield and that's cost us tonight. Really need better players than the likes of Cole and Kuyt out wide.

Pretty poor from both English sides, both looked half arsed about going out.
Fully deserved to go out. Nothing at all in that match, poor performances from virtually every single player on the pitch, wayward passes, absolutely zero creativity , zilch from the wings , so sooo slow and too much going backwards rather than forwards. We need to sign some decent wingers who can cross a ball and some more creativity. Keisuke Honda would be nice and would only cost 10million.
Really frustrating performance from us today. Other than the first 15 minutes we lacked any sort of urgency and pace in attack, and only looked like creating things from set plays.

Ref was horrendous, but tbh we didn't really deserve to win. If it was Bragas throw in, we got it, if 'Pool throw in, they got it.
Kuyt blocking that Carroll header was so ****ing irratating.
The understanding of the advantage rule was what ****ed me off the most. On 2 occasions we had fouls on the edge of the area, with the opportunity to put the ball in the box but the ref played the advantage as the ball ended up falling 50 yards from goal to 1 of our back 4.
Not sure the ref could have done much with the penalty shout in the first half. How the extra assistant missed it, I'll never know. The Braga player pushed Carroll square in the back with 2 hands right in front of him.

I think that was half the problem. Lucas didn't seem himself today and none of Maxi, Cole or Meireles gave us any energy in midfield. I think we'd have been better off plaing Kuyt on the right for his running, he's a better crosser than Cole too.

We may have to make do with 6th and hope someone useful wins the fa cup. Going to be nigh on impossible to keep Reina in the summer with no European football I fear.
He was but nearer end he was more wide or so it seemed, Before this game i fear Reina was off anyway tbh. 6th is good considering we were in the bottom three at on point but obv not good enough for us as a club i just hope we spend in summer cause we need to spend fairly big.
He did move out wide when Cole and Maxi went off.
As for Reina, it's far from certain he'll go. It's going to take a club bidding £20m before he'll even have a decision to make. Also, providing the club continue to show the ambition we did in January, I'm more than hopefully Reina will give us another season. After all, he signed a 6 year deal last summer when things looked far bleeker
I can think of a few clubs that can afford £20mil thou UTD being one of them,Club has to show same ambition in Jan if they dont its far more damaging to us, Regarding contracts he could sign a 5 year one tommorow and still leave they mean sod all in football anyway.
Part of me thinks he will stay ofcourse im glad thou he isnt saying he will stay forever and then going as it annoys you tons more lol, I still reckon we should sign Honda in summer since we didnt in Jan
