UEFA Champions League/Europa League 16/17/18 April *** Spoilers ***

They are not playing Ajax though. They are playing Barcelona and first leg is away...
But the point being made was that we're beatable in relation to Ajax, as if Ajax were a better side and less likely to be beaten. The winner of the Barca - Liverpool semi would be fairly big favourites in the final.

They were dominated in the first half and could easily have been 3-4 nil down. Saying 6-1 flattered them would be an understatement.
Liverpool were?

Porto had a lot of possession and pot shots or quarter chances but not once in the first half did they come close or look like actually scoring.

edit: and just to support that, the expected goals stat (across both legs) for the Liverpool - Porto tie was 5.7 - 1.7. So to say we could have been 3 or 4 down in the first half of the 2nd leg is quite frankly mad.

Rarely is a tie dominated for 180 minutes, we were under pressure for 25 mins which is pretty standard given our lead and obvious ability to get an away goal

Ordinary Liverpool are miles ahead of Barca in their relative leagues and the PL is far and away ahead of La Liga currently.

That said it could go either way, Messi Suarez Coutinho is class

Liverpool just won a quarter final 6-1 and they're beatable? I mean everyone's beatable but we are in serious form and are far superior to Ajax.
You might think that Liverpool are far superior to Ajax but you'd have thought real and juve were superior to Ajax as well and look how them games turned out

Arsenal vs Napoli, not looking forward to the game :/.

Just hope we are up for this, our away form is atrocious as it is but we definitely need an away goal or 2. Hopefully Auba is on it along with laca.

I want them both to get through so it distracts them from PL :D
Also, stadiums that double up for athletics etc are grim aren’t they :(
Napoli should be entertaining though!

Not really, Real have been quite poor(for their standards) this season and Juventus are all old/have Emre Can.

Yes real have been off this year but you'd have said they'd have beat Ajax if Liverpool do get passed Barcelona and Ajax beat spurs I hope Ajax stuff Liverpool

All of the best teams today have lots of pace throughout the team, it's part of the reason why Solskjaer has turned things around at United he dropped all of the cloggers like Fellaini, Mata and favours Rashford over Lukaku who was pretty much undroppable under Mourinho.
