What is particularly funny is the reaction, if you look up some gifs you would see the ball being played to an offside Lewandowski before Ramos scores the own goal, slow mo of the Asensio foul by Vidal shows he clips Asensio's foot before he gets the ball and he was on a final warning, it was a yellow for persistent fouling and should have happened much earlier. Both he and Casemiro did enough to be sent off way way earlier in the game.

That's Vidal and what should have been his second yellow, got nothing.

I think that was what he got the initial yellow card for... not far off a red, lunged in to get the player, zero chance of the ball, studded him on purpose basically.

I also for the life of me can't see how that isn't a penalty. At worst he saw it coming and braced for it a little, the other angles you can see he's standing with both legs up when his right leg hits Boateng's legs. THe first angle shows how much Boateng stepped across his path completely, of course you would brace for an impact if someone as big as Boateng steps across you like that.
The ref was dire, but as many woeful decisions went against Real. Vidal should have been off before Casemiro, penalties not given. I've been saying we should have video replay for a decade, there is no reason not to have it. But the worst thing is people just pick and choose which team they don't like and accuse that team of cheating while ignoring all the bad decisions going the other way.
Second Ronaldo goal was offside, should never have stood, Casemiro should have been off, I haven't seen a good angle of the hat-trick goal, it looks very close to inline from the difficult to tell angle but maybe just offside. Too many people complaining about bent refs, Real and cheating rather than saying refs can't match the view we get with video replays, they miss stuff constantly and have a bad view of the stuff they see. Refs are somewhere between bad and raw end of the stick, we get replays and a far better starting view of every incident anyway.
For the past decade, maybe two, when video replay has been easy to implement(every top league game is broadcast live so every game has a tv crew and enough cameras to make video replay work fine since at least a decade ago) instead of blaming the league for not implementing video replays we blame the refs, we blame 'big teams' we blame corruption and we blame anything but the fact that refs have a difficult job and a MUCH worse view than the fans sat at home watching on tv. Fans have for far too long made excuses about how video replays will ruin the game.... while complaining the game is being ruined by refs/corruption/big team bias.
Fans need to shut up about refs sucking, or start speaking out loudly in favour of video replays.
