UEFA Champions League/Europa League 20/21/22 November *** Spoilers ***

Hahahahahaha bye bye City...2nd time out in group stages lol.

Anyhow phewwww am glad Arsenal managed to keep a clean sheet...what a goal by the Pod and interesting stat is that both Giroud and Podolski have scored the same amount of goals as we did last yr at the same stage...so looks like we aren't missing RVP all that much

City are away to Dortmund for the last game as well... might not even get into the Europa League!

It's not a good stat that it's taken 2 players to match the goal scoring of 1 ;)

Dortmund have won the group though so they may rest players....

Has anyone seen a gif, or saw in the Utd game the Galatasaray manager pick up a water bottle, attempt to throw it at two of his staff on the bench, both flinch but the bottle slipped out of his hand so didn't hit them? It was great :p (I think it was the Utd game, might have been the Juve manager).

Was mostly watching the Arsenal game, half decent but not great, Montpellier were abysmal, their passing was actually laughable throughout, as was ours in the first half. Nice goal by Podolski, not bad from AOC at all, Mertesacker/Sagna for their first chance, higher line, not reading the play at all and stupidly slow to react to the run, keeper did very well to come out as early as he did but those two combined to give a poor team playing badly a chance that could easily have seen our keeper sent off. Kos made a similarly awful mistake in the second, dawdling on the ball for no apparent reason then getting the yellow to prevent a real chance.

Only saw a couple replays of the Aguero penalty but, it looked a dive from the 2 angles I saw, even if it was a penalty it didn't look intentional, Arbeloa fell away from the player, could have kicked out, tripped or fallen on his legs, very harsh yellow card to say the least and, I'm not sure but didn't he get a yellow card earlier in the game for what was a clear as day shove by Alonso?

The bad thing for City was, Benzema didn't do much, Di Maria was crap all game, the fullbacks didn't do very well offensively, the only player for Real who had what seemed like a good game was Ronaldo... and City still didn't look competitive without cheating. if Ozil had played and he and Di Maria played better, fullbacks done more, City could have been torn apart, again.

Maicon... defensively horrendous, offensively, horrendous, so many cheaper, far lower wage, younger and better right backs available.
