UEFA Champions League/Europa League 2010/11 Matchday 3 *** Spoilers ***

Nope not really in the first half. Getting to grips with it now though. Their fans are impressive though. Crazy amounts of support.

I hope that when all four Italian sides are knocked out of the Europa League in December, people like Maurizio Zamparini stop saying "There's no problem with Italian football, we're as competitive as everyone else" when what we actually need to do is look at ourselves and sort out this mess we've made.

Knocked out? I thought you said they'll be banned?

When did I say they'd be banned?

UEFA: Suspended sentence due to be handed down for actions of police letting in Serbian fans without checks just to clear them off the streets.

I said nothing else, troll.

You said the suspended sentence would be activated by the incidents involving Napoli tonight :)

No.

IF the suspended sentence were active, which it is not, the STIPULATION of the suspended sentence, which is not yet active (the stipulation isn't active as the sentence isn't active), would thereby be activated leading to A STADIUM BAN. That is what the suspended sentence is for AND UEFA would need to decide that the actions in Napoli can be used in association with the behaviour of policemen in Genoa lapsing security measures.

For goodness sake troll.

Many apologies. I assumed the suspended sentence was for more than a stadium ban considering you argued withe me when I said they'd get nothing more than that. Which raises the question as to why you went off on a rant in the other thread if I was right all along :)

So years of trouble and they've been given a suspended sentence of a stadium ban :o

You weren't right. Troll. You've not understood a single thing that's been said, you've proved that explicitly in the last sentence above. End of story really - you couldn't handle me leaving the other thread so you've come looking for me here and trying to twist my posts to get a response. You're getting a response. Does it feel good? Hope so. I find it amusing. I do honestly hope you're about 12 though, otherwise its just sad.

lol :D

It was a genuine question. You clearly stated in the other thread that the suspended sentence would be activated because of the actions of Napoli fans. I assumed the suspended sentence was to do with Italy being banned from Europe, seeing as you argued with me saying they wouldn't be. Which is why I asked the question in this thread :)

Stop taking things so personally :)

Now back to the good team of the evening.. :p

Pretty fantastic game all in all. No controversy, end to end towards the end, and most importantly of course, we won! Dominated the first half but evened up a little more after they got their first. We still always looked more likely to score though, Adam Johnson with what would have been a goal of epic merit. I don't think anyone would deny the final result fairly reflected the game.

And all that with seven changes from the first team. Tevez rested, Adebayor now with a chunk load more confidence, same for Silva. And De Jong looks like he's getting his teeth back after that abysmal effort at Blackpool.

Looking forward to Arsenal :)

Wasnt a great hat trick but a hat trick none the less....i am not a big fan and still arent but this could be a turning point and im more confident now that he can score on Sunday next to Tevez.
World class performance from Silva today who is getting better by the game...and Johnson was great again and if that shot had gone in after beating 4 players? it would have been my goal of the season.
