UEFA Champions League/Europa League 2010/11 Matchday 3 *** Spoilers ***

Lovely goal by Wilshere, what an awesome prospect hes turning out to be and hes only 18 yrs old:eek::p

Beaten Reals record...14 goals in the first 3 games...always nice to beat Real at something:p

Guess we could say game over for Shaktar as they havent really done anything of note other than to give us a penalty.

Pretty decent performance from us. Flappy has been pretty good, made a nice save earlier on.

5-0

Did I just hear rightly? That this is the best start in terms of goals in the group stages CL history, overtaking a Real Madrid record?

Yup 13 goals in the first 3 games of the CL or something like that...take that Moaning one and shove it where the sun dont shine:p

Pretty sure he'll be England's best player in a few years. From the opening few months he's been so much better than anybody could have hoped, and everybody knew he was going to be damn good.

I agree, the tug of ware between Stuart Pearce, and Capello is ridiculous, and I may be alone in thinking this, but said tug of war, is what dirtied Walcott. And forget the injuries he had that year when he played both senior games and U-21 games. But Tbh, I think that Wilshere is like the new Gazza, the new Scholes, The newest player we have that has the technical ability as Xavi, as Fabregas, and by me saying that, I don't mean he is at that quality (not yet) by god, he has that potential

(Also, You have to take into account my opinion was formed whilst wearing Arsenal Glasses)

Have to say that Nasri has really been doing well for us this season and even last season...if he can stay fit long enough i can see him becoming pretty immense...Andy Gray likened him to the silent assassin ie pops up when you least expect him to:p.

Still will never forget that goal from last seasons CL game against Porto i think, where he took on 3-4 defenders...beat them and slammed the ball home...one of the best goals ive seen in a long time.

Agreed about Nasri, quickly becoming my favourite Arsenal player, can do the sublime but never stops running and tracking back. He's coming along extremely well too

Denilson has been immense since he came on. He's really come on recently imo.

Yep in fairness, even though I complained about Fabregas coming off and Denilson coming on, the last two or three games I've seen him play he hasn't put a foot wrong, he's getting into the habit of rarely giving the ball away.

lol oh dear this could easily be a 6, 7 or 8-0 game if this continues.

Although we have Man City this weekend, and we will struggle. I need to get the off my chest, I hate Drogba, not because he dives, because he is so good, and he always seems to read our defenders gane, no matter who it is, last year, he even ripped Vermaelen apart (V. Damme)

This year? Chelsea, --> Arsenal.

There you go, our biggest problem, really, keeping clean sheets. Still glad For Edu, and he was trye to his word, with the celebrating.

He has been recently...i only hope for his sake he can keep it up and especially against quality opposition...ive slated him in the past but looks like hes becoming more and more consistent lately.
