Gibbs should have kept a bit deeper then, rather than advancing onto the player with the ball. As a result, Dortmund had so much space on the right.
 
Unlucky Arsenal. Played some great football throughout the match from what I saw and were just a little unlucky not to have won it. If Arsenal had RvP still with this team they would be stellar.

I have no idea what the commentators were chatting about as usual. Apparently since the goal Dortmund have been great and Arsenal have been "ok" all match.
 
Ah well, missed Flamini. It happens, they're a good team, it's always going to be difficult. Very happy with how Arsenal played though.
 
FT: 1-2 Dortmund.

They started really well and it looked like we'd get hammered but after our goal we dominated the match and probably would've gone on to win it if it wasn't for some dodgy officiating. A hard result to take but we didn't play badly so I'm not too bothered, anyones group now (apart from Marseille lol).
 
I thought Arsenal would probably lose tonight but unfortunately missed the game. Sounds like they were far from their best?

Dodgy officiating? Lewa had his eyes on the ball the whole time and didn't even catch him with the elbow. It was careless more than any thing there was no intent to hurt him. Like Nani kind of just careless.

They weren't fantastic, but played well for the most part considering the quality of opposition, IMO.

Edit: I think a draw would have been a fair result tbh.
 
Just a blip. I'm really not panicking. It may be a struggle to get out of this group, but I'm more interested in the league and tonight we played at a level that would beat the vast majority of prem teams.

Still got the other lads to come back as well. Walcott for example would have had a great chance against their left back.
