lol Arsenal, lol at the fans more banging on about a improved defence and great team, not missing RVP and whatever else, because we DREW with Sunderland and Stoke and managed to beat the mighty mighty Liverpool.
Nothing different in our defence from last season, 3 years ago, the first 3 games this season or the last 3 games we've played, crap.
Santos looked abysmal last year and this year looks to be one of the least fit footballers I've ever seen play in the prem league, professional footballer, looks shattered after 30 minutes, looks half dead after 60 minutes and he isn't even good in that first 30 minutes. 6mil 70-80k a week..... hahahahahaha.
Ramsey as a right winger, with zero pace, not great delivery, and inability to beat a man, sure, Arshavin gets no chance again instead we play someone completely unable to play well on the wing. Gervinho, despite being crap all season and getting a few tap ins, starts again. Podolski gets shafted with no delivery, no service, Gervinho never in the middle when he can put the ball in himself and gets taken off when the team makes changes.
Then the tried and true, and utter failure of a substitution tactic that is, take off your only half decent defender, put on a winger, and play the whole team with no idea who should be where at any given time, brilliant.
At half time we should have put Kos on for Santos and put Verm out left, then, take your pick, Ramsey in the middle and Arshavin for Coquelin, Arshavin for Gervinho, Podolski upfront.
Arshavin is just about the worst starter of games I've seen, while Walcott can almost be good for the first 5 minutes of a game, or after he comes on, Arshavin is usually crap for 10-15 minutes from the start or from coming on, bringing him on any later than the 60th minute is generally worthless as he won't be up to speed with the game before its finished.
Appaulling performances across two games, largely because of team selection. Gervinho is barely a footballer, should barely make the bench, Walcott sucks, AOC looks promising but still not delivering much, Arshavin is amongst our best players with a good scoring record and GREAT assist record, Giroud won't "come good" without being played consistently, and we've got no one else anyway. Santi can do whatever he wants, but he's not very accurate with shooting and he's had no one to pass the ball to in the past 2 games, the movement/runs/support into the box means while he can make the killer pass, there is rarely anyone to pass to in a dangerous position.
EDIT:- I don't know which possibility is worse, Bould was "really" in charge tonight, and didn't have the balls to make the changes required, making him a pretty worthless assistant manager and hasn't improved the defence in the slightest, or that he was just doing whatever Wenger told him to, in which case our manager didn't have the balls, tactical capacity, or idea to make the required changes earlier. Either situation is bad for us, the fact that the changes were so terrible almost doesn't matter.
Substitutions if you actually want to win games, take off the worst performers and put on the best players you can from the bench... did we do that, no. Podolski and Jenks off, when Gervinho, Ramsey, Santos were all terrible?
