There was a time when no one could come to old Trafford and expect to win. Especially in Europe. If you were a small team the best you could hope for was to keep the score down and not get fc copenhagen'ed.

The players now seem to not hold any esteem to the playing for man utd. We are too accepting of these losses. How many times did we lose at home in Europe last season? Its a joke.
 
He was looking for it and on his way down before he got near him. No different than Eduardo as there was contact there too.
 
That Cluj goal was almost identical to Scholes v Barcelona in 2008. Sadly his contribution to tonight's goal was giving the ball away then putting in a reckless tackle and leaving himself completely out of position.
 
Not for the first time in this seasons competition Hayley McQueen is the best thing I've seen on a match night

I said Fergie was getting like Wenger, 3-4 years ago Wenger started his real panic formation which was, sucking in a game, put on strikers upfront, on the wings, and if needed, at fullback as well, and play 1-1-27 formation, it worked about twice over 4 years or so.

Isnt it a shame that it no longer needs to be an actual foul these days!?!? As long as there is "contact" thats enough! :mad:
 
It's gotta be pretty much time for Giggs and Scholes to retire after that display hasn't it?

That and Rafa out I guess, Chelsea were dire too :)
