Both are dangerous tackles that can cause serious damage to the body?I suppose, to an extent. Slightly different scenarios though.

Good first half but we need to put far more pressure on the ball in wide areas. Constantly crossing to Torres and Drogba for 90 minutes will eventually result in a goal, despite Rio and Vida doing well so far.
Vidic wasn't firm, in fact there was clear air between him and Torres when Flopando 'lost balance'...I thought there was at shoulder level, with Vidic being firm rather than committing a foul , how I aaw it anyway
So only once you see a shattered eye-socket or gouged eye he should get a red... you should take your ideas to FIFA.
Evans time?![]()
So what about these reds that players are getting for two footed tackles when they got the ball?
Fact is it's a dangerous challenge, a player shouldn't have to get injured for there to be punishment.
What relevance has that got to anything, as mentioned above?Where did I say that? He didn't catch him, that's all I said.![]()

A tackle doesn't have to do damage to be dangerous. If we relied on 'catching' players for cards, then... well, I don't even want to go into it.
