I don't understand what i'm watching anymore. It's as bad as an England match. We must be the laziest and worst coached team in Europe. No one ever moves! Players stand miles apart just begging for an option. When they manage to get into the final third it seems the Plan A is to let Valencia spend a minute re-positioning his body as he awkwardly shields the ball so that he can make a 5 yard pass backward. I was pleased before that Young seemed to have been dropped but he's back and so it seems is Valencia.
Again, I don't understand what i'm watching. These players are terrible every single time. Yet Nani has a bad match and hes banished. The same with Giggs. Terrible.Every.Single.Match.
And why has DDG adopted Rios "hoof it as hard as you can" policy for distribution? And how can a professional player, on a yelllow, continue to foul over and over and over again? What i'm watching!
Zaha! Someone needs to explain to DM that he can't do any worst than these guys.
Until we make new signings, DM needs to have the guts to drop his 2 strikers policy.
/head explodes
Just goes to show how good of a job Fergie done. He got out at the perfect time and left on a high knowing full well David Moyes would never cut it and secondly knowing the squad is no where near good enough to mount any challenge at all in Europe.
With the Glazers wasting £50-60 million a year on interest payments instead of players i dont see United winning the league or CL any time soon. I didn't think u guys would do a Liverpool but that looks more likely now then winning the league in the next 5 years.
If i was in charge of United i would send Moyes packing at the end of the season. It may be harsh on the guy but look at what Southampton did they sacked Atkins who didn't deserve to be sacked and brought in somebody who is better at the job than him. I didn't agree with it at the time but the owner made the right call and i think United should do the same with Moyes before it's to late.
I despair when I read posts like these. They are at best juvenile in their outlook or come from some of the united fans who think it is their god given right to continually dominate English football unchallenged.

Excuse the hyperbole? Where is the evidence that any of this is true?

I think a lot of us feel Valencia regressed from the impact that eh had in his first season. He plays a different role in the team largely dictated by the previous manager's desire to make United difficult to beat in Europe. Valencia now offer a huge degree of defensive cover and some bulk in midfield.

Nani had a terrible game in his last outing. He was incredibly wasteful put pressure on the defence. Aside from one cross which made a goal it was an abject performance from a player who is experienced and had been rewarded with a contract extension. He will not play away from home in Europe for the reasons stated above re Valencia

DM obviously feels that Zaha is not ready for 1st team football yet. He didn't sign him so shouldn't feel compelled to play him. As a very experienced manager you have to respect that judgement he is making. Contrast it with his willingness to play Januzaj - a player who is physically slighter and less experienced than Zaha and you have a good illustration of the context of the decision. The lad can't be ready yet and Moyes will be protecting him.

Fergie "done" an amazing job with the club. He built 4/5 championship winning teams. Developed young players, committed to the youth system and persisted with the best available British born players. He extracted the maximum out of players and developed a sustainable club. He passed the baton to Moyes knowing he would be true to the traditions that made the club successful but would have the energy and desire to keep the club moving forward. Fergie signed the likes of Zaha, Jones, Smalling, De gea knowing he would not see the best of them but that he would be leaving the team with a good nucleus of young players for a future manager to build a team around. United have flattered a bit in Europe as have all the English sides. Our game has definitely regressed in the last 3/4 years despite all the money in the premiership.

Its a good job you are not in charge. Comparing Adkins to Moyes? Who else would you get in that would do a better job than David Moyes? there was always going to be a transition period. If United had won against West Brom this season they would be 2nd equal on 20 points having played 3 of the top four. Judge his progress at the end of a season rather than turn United into some Oligarch's folly to play with.
