UEFA Champions League/Europa League 7/8/9 March *** Spoilers ***

Really, and Suarez couldn't have complained if he'd been sent off for multiple dives, Mascherano couldn't have complained if he was sent off and PSG get a penalty for fouling Di Maria(I've gone back to look at it, it's unclear if the foul effected the shot, so maybe not a penalty, but it was diving in from behind with the express intention of preventing a goal scoring chance with zero attempt to get the ball. He also put his studs through the hell of Di Maria, that is a straight red regardless.

Also Cavani could have scored a couple more, there were other chances as well. They were absolutely lucky, no team has all their chances go in(in the massive massive majority of games), it's not abnormal for Messi/Suarez and Neymar to miss more chances than they score, that is how both football go and those three's career's have gone. There was nothing unlucky about their finishing, in fact the weird deflected own goal, the undeserved penalty for a player who should have been off the pitch half an hour before he dived to win it, saying they weren't lucky is embarrassing.
well said

Nothing mentioned anywhere about Veratti with his tackle on Ter Stagan just after being booked, if the ref sends him off don't think Barca gets the last chance to score with.

Amazing game. Yes Suarez shdve been off it wasn't a pen. However in the first half Barca shdve had a pen. Thingmy had his shirt pulled pulling him back when he was through. One of msm :p

Best barca players for me were Neymar Messi they kept on fighting and both fouled soon many times.

Worst barca players for me were their GK (just one good save) Cavani goal straight at him.
Rafinha was **** too cudnt make a cross he's no Dani Alves that's for sure. Pique had bad game as well caught out loads. Busquets as well a tad.

Ultimately PSG made an incredible mistake playing the offside trap with 30 seconds left. The barca player offside was not interfere with play at all. Great finish though!

PSG defense crumbled which is bit surprising as Silva is a class leader and defender.

I do think the ref was biased for barca... Still waiting to see the di Mario slip replay....

What? Ref gave the freekick. I'm not sure PSG having less players on the pitch is a good argument for Barca not to score.

Ok so they didn't ever have 4-0 but Barca still went through, never saw any other result at the Nou

Barca were not lucky at all - they had some decent chances in the 1st half that on any other night one of MSN would normally score

Could easily have been 4 up at half time and PSG couldn't have complained

I couldn't ever see Barca coming back from that, gotta admit though, some dodgy officiating again at key moments

PSG absolutely bottled it, played some of the worst football I can recall seeing - I will say this though, barca can be such a beautiful team to watch but damn they are disgusting. The second they bring in proper video refereeing to stamp out cheating the better.

Impressive how all of Barca's success comes down to being cheating *****. As a PL ultra, where you never see this kind of playacting, I am disgusted and embarrassed.

I said earlier, I used to absolutely love watching Barcelona, from 2000 to I don't know, 2011-12 they had some fantastic to watch football with various teams, all had that attacking flair and some fantastic players. Even under Guardiola you had Busquets being a **** and a couple of players diving but most teams have one player you hate and a couple more who are dodgy.

But now, every single game I'm left frustrated, they could be 3-0 up against the bottom of the table with a 6 point lead in the title in the last game of the season and Suarez and Neymar would still dive to get a guy sent off. I can't think of the last game I watched involving them that I didn't just get angry at the whole team for behaving like almost all of them did.

All joking aside, I do think the Suarez one was a pen. He 100% exaggerated, but sad to say you have to nowadays to get anything. Slight contact with the knee but it's a penalty. Only productive way to cut out actual diving/playacting is to give retrospective bans.
