Nothings changed, Spurs still need three men sent off to win.
Fixed on performance so far.

And they could have got through with 1 before that but that didn't stop the 'nothings changed' postsWouldn't they have only needed 2 to go through though?
Because he had 1 good game in WC and thinks he's good. Awful defender and has cost us so many goals this season. He's only about 60% at good deadball delivery too. Not good enough these days.Every single one of their dangerous attacks comes from Trippier being involved
Ahhhhh, I missed the jokeAnd they could have got through with 1 before that but that didn't stop the 'nothings changed' posts![]()
Not exactly. 1-0 would have needed pens to go through. To win the tie outright they needed 2 goals from the start. And they could have got through with 1 before that but that didn't stop the 'nothings changed' posts![]()
Yes but that doesn't mean that conceding one meant 'nothing changed'. The situation did change because it meant that they needed 2 inside 90, whereas before that 1 could have been enough to see them into penalties and then its anyone's game. Not exactly. 1-0 would have needed pens to go through. True but I don't think you can play for a 1-0 - I'm sure Spurs game plan was to score at least twice in 90 minutes and not worry about that 1 bit of bad luck or a wonder strike. And in my defence, I only said it didn't change much.Yes but that doesn't mean that conceding one meant 'nothing changed'. In another sense though, nothing changed in that Spurs were always destined to bottle itTrue but I don't think you can play for a 1-0 - I'm sure Spurs game plan was to score at least twice in 90 minutes and not worry about that 1 bit of bad luck or a wonder strike. It's really good ammunition for Poch to get transfer funds. If you go deep in the season, you need a bigger squad- you can't run a 22 man squad where 4 and U21

Yeah, players dont want penalties, fans love it but players dont, complete toss up. Spurs players would have gone into the game needing 2 goals within 90 mins.
It's one thing wanting and needing transfer funds but what can Spurs afford? In the medium term Spurs won't benefit massively from the extra revenue from the stadium as that's going to be used to pay back some hefty loans - the benefit will be that they're no longer paying for the stadium with existing revenues like they have been in the last few years. That said, I'd imagine there's still a fair amount of finishing touches that need paying for before Spurs are even back to where they were 2-3 years ago. It's really good ammunition for Poch to get transfer funds. The squad has been exhausted, the players who are fit are also constantly having to play out of position. We've lost all our fluidity and energy as a result - the players aren't confident in their positions and are knackered.Yeah, Spurs are suffering from something for sure. Eriksen has looked ***** for the past god knows how long and Spurs are generally looking tired and a bit off the pace at times.
That being said, I would rather see Ajax in the final because Spurs vs Liverpool would be a shame.
Fans love penalties?! Not when it's your team involved.
