LOL:D

Mourinho is pure genius, no other manager would have got them through this tie.

Lol. You got yourselves 3-1 down after the first leg and the mans a genius? PSG didn't turn up yesterday, they had very little threat and you got very lucky with a Ba goal....nothing "genius" about it.

I'm pretty sure he's a city fan...

Anyway we didn't play particularly well, had some decent chances especially great hits by schurrle and oscar (woodwork!) but otherwise pretty average display. Still we got the result and I'm absolutely ecstatic, not under any illusions that the other teams likely to be in the semi final draw are far better units than us.

Hopefully United make the semi finals, would be really good to have two british clubs in the last four again! It's been a while.

Terrible tactics from PSG. What a awful disgraceful display. Blanc got it so so wrong. Right from the outset they looked crap, no intention to get forward. Even if they had Zlatan I don't think anything would have changed. Their tactics were awful. Congrats to Chelsea though. Pretty poor performance but they kept at it. With all the route one football at the end I thought they had run out of ideas but then it just fell for them. Glad to see a British club go through though at the end of the day.

Madrid did much the same the only difference is it worked for them, PSG were only 3mins away in fairness. It's a fine line between success and failure.

I'm hoping Chelsea get Barcelona in the semis as I think they stand the best chance against them, although they're without Ivanovic who will be a big miss.

Honestly it didn't work for Madrid at all, they could have been 4/5-0 down by the end were it not for poor finishing by Mkhitarian.

I'm glad they've gone through, I get sick of the press and everyone else in Europe writing of the English teams. Well in Chelski.

Same, as I said before people are far to quick in this country to over hype the opposition when in reality they usually don't watch these teams play week in week out.

I'd like United to get through to and have a chelsea united semi to guarantee one of them got to the final.

We won't be going through I don't think, I'm just hoping for a performance with some balls and not an absolute tonking,

Great performance from chelsea. Terrible from PSG.

PSG had no fight, no spirit. They should have gone for a goal and it would have been game over. Great belief from Chelsea though. Hope Man U go through and we get them in the semis. :p

Everyone expected Man United to lose heavily in the first leg and they got a draw. With everyone predicting a close game tonight, I'm fully expecting United to get battered.

Well I'd certainly take that! :D I really can't see United beating Bayern away, but then stranger things have happened (c.f. Barca-Chelsea 2012).

I'm not sure who I'd prefer to face in the semis... Bayern are the only team I'm actively hoping we avoid. I can see another upset in the final being possible, but beating them over two legs seems a huge ask.

Real would be an interesting match-up, given Mourinho's history there. I think it would be a very difficult match for Chelsea though. Their strike force is so strong, and losing Ivanovic is a big blow to our defence.

Frankly, assuming that Bayern beat Man U, I'd prefer to face the winner of the Atletico - Barca match. Chelsea have a pretty good record against Barca, and Messi hasn't scored against Chelsea in any of his 8 matches.

So... Barca in the semis and Bayern in the final would be my preference I think :) 2012 mk.2 please :p

De Gea; Jones, Smalling, Vidic, Evra; Carrick, Fletcher; Valencia, Kagawa, Welbeck; Rooney

Supposedly the team for tonight - but we will see in a few hours.

Im a little surprised Fletcher would be able to do enough for a start after doing 90 minutes at the weekend, but its not a bad selection if true

About as good as it gets if that's the team. Just shows our weakness in choices, only Mata for Valencia and Rafa for Vidic would be the changes I could think of with our current squad.

Vidic was solid first leg, not sure about Jones at RB. Evra was poor at the weekend vs Newcastle I hope Robben doesn't embarrass him. Valencia is nothing special really doesn't provide much these days.
