Liverpool and Man City both in one night, what have we done to deserve this? :(

I've just found out Bayer Leverkusen v Villarreal was on, missed a 5 goal thriller to listen to commentators worshipping Carroll. :(

I called it I said Liverpool were going to flop after the win against United.

Secondly apart from Fulham last year, why do English clubs always fail in the Europa League. Teams like Everton and Aston Villa have always been terrible in it. Yet I always hear comments on how the English league is the best and you wouldn't get teams like Wolves beating teams like Man Utd in Spain/Italy. Though I wonder how we can only entertain in the Champions League, is there really a big cap between top 4 and rest? (Even if there is a top 4 now)

this is a fair point. had fabregas carried out a similar protest, it would've been classed as 'love for the club'

2140: About 15 minutes remaining at the Valeriy Lobanovskiy Stadium in Kiev and the score is still Dynamo 1-0 Man City, as it has been for an awfully long time. Can they fashion a way back into this tie?
 
The point is Gallas didn't just sit down though did he, he threw a massive strop. I think he threw or kicked at something then threw his arms around a bit and then sat at the opposite end of the pitch in the corner sulking, I even think someone asked him to come join the rest of the team and he refused. A leader you say? lol.
