UEFA Champions League/Europa League 8/9/10 March *** Spoilers ***

I meant if we can get it - great. We don't have one. But there's no point going all the way and then buggering something up. In which case I'd rather take the league (his question was which do I prefer).

I think I'm similar, I would love for us to win the CL because we don't have one, but at the same time I'd love for us to win the league more because it's imo based on consistency and on who remains the best over the 38 games. :)

"I want all the great players to play, everyone against everyone and see a great show," piped Pep. "I hope they are all in the team – Van Persie, [Samir] Nasri, Cesc [Fabregas]. I want [Alex] Song to play, because I would like to play the best possible Arsenal," he added, mysteriously omitting Tomas Rosicky from his Dream XI.

As for Arsenal, Wenger reckons his team won't go out to defend their narrow lead. "Is it realistic to go there to try to play a 0-0 from the first minute on?" he chortled, looking at his back four. "First of all it would be considerably against our nature and even tactically I don't think it is defendable. We have not a team with 11 defenders who are happy to defend."

Or any defenders who are happy to defend for that matter, Arsene.
Heh.

Three hours til kick off eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Have Arsenal confirmed their team line up for tonight at all yet? Reason i ask is i have a £10 free bet i fancy using :D Just bet £10 for arsenal to win returns £80 doubt it will happen but hey may aswell try :P

I don't think we've had any leaked team news since Hodgson left. Most weeks we knew the starting 11 the day before the game, when Hodgson was in charge.

Not sure if any of the gooners on here have heard any leaks regarding their 11 but nothing will be confirmed until 1 hour before kick-off when the team sheets are handed into the officials.

edit: Just had a quick look on twitter and a couple of journo's are saying Van Persie's starting. Assuming Fabregas has passed his fitness test too, the rest of their side picks itself.

Cool if true well im debating weather to go with Arshavin/Messi to score if so returns a nice £120. I just hope tonights football is as good as he last leg it would be nice to see Arsenal go through as their English but i doubt it due to their goal keeper who is prone to mistakes along with their defence =/

Not sure if it's confirmed but this is said to be Arsenal's side:

Szczesny; Sagna, Djourou, Koscielny, Clichy; Diaby, Wilshere; Nasri, Fabregas, Rosicky; Van Persie

and Barca's:

Valdes; Dani Alves, Busquets, Abidal, Adriano; Mascherano; Xavi, Iniesta; Pedro, David Villa, Messi.

Arsenal: Wojscez, Sagna, Djourou, Koscielny, Clichy, Diaby, Wilshere, Cesc, Nasri, Rosicky, Van Persie

Arsenal subs: Almunia, Denilson, Squillaci, Eboue, Arshavin, Chamakh, Bendtner

Barca: Valdes, Alves, Adriano, Busquets, Abidal, Mascherano, Xavi, Iniesta, Pedro, Messi, Villa.

Barca Subs: Pinto, Bojan, Keita, Nilito, Maxwell, Afellay, Thiago

2 - This is only the 2nd time that Barça start a competitive game with Abidal & Busquets as centre backs. Experiment.

Well that's a boost for them.

Biscuits and Abidal at the back for Barca, game on.

Weren't Barca without 2 (or even 3?) or their back 4 vs you in the final the other year? Counts for nothing if you can't get the ball off them.

edit: Just realised Arsenal have gone with Rosicky ahead of Arshavin

Would have thought Arshavin's pace would have been useful today.
