No, he showed absolutely no improvement at all as a central striker, none at all. He was abysmal, didn't bring the team into the game with him, couldn't hold it up, couldn't get involved in any general play. He was utterly worthless for 95% of every game and was solely a marginal threat when played in behind, of the MANY times we played in behind his finishing was horrific.

We gave him a ludicrous number of one on ones and he fluffed most of them, hence in the league he has scored 2 of 27 chances with the majority of his chances being him played in behind.

Two particular games where the opposition decides not to defend at all throughout the game and the entire side walked through them time and time again.. even in those games Walcott looked like a joke. Should have had a hat trick at least against Utd, instead fluffed everything. A few games where opposition fell apart and made it easy so he picked up some goals doesn't change how poorly he played in those games.

Just finished worked and flicked Arsenal on, is it a 2+ goal win they need? Anything else needed to get through?
