Well done Chelsea! I really got into it cheering them on and it was a great game. Glad they won, especially on penalties.

Nice to see Abromovich lifting the trophy which he has cleverly wanted for so long :p

I don't think Terry should have been allowed to lift the. Up like some conquering hero though. He didn't deserve that and I don't know why hey changed the rules just or him.

We done Chelski, unlucky Spurs!
 
When Drogba went to take his pen I stood up & shouted "Make yourself a Legend son" he did & is. :D + :cool:
 
Was out last night and not going to read through the thread but well done Chelsea, you deserved it on the night. Bayern played the better football but you beat them where it really counts in a final, bottle. While Bayern threw away chance after chance you kept your cool. Even when you conceded the penalty in extra time I had the feeling that even if they scored you would pull it back.

Well done.

Also hard luck Spurs.
 
Fair play to Chelsea deserved winners in the end they sat back and took everything BM had and it wasn't that much in the end for all the ball they had.
What amazes me is how one sided Robben is with his feet! You always know he is going to go cut back and go inside so so predictable I don't get how he still manages it at times.
Got to say really that some of those Chelsea players deserve a CL medal for how brilliant they have been over the years, it would be a shame if the likes of Lampard, Cech and Drogba and Ashley Cole to be fair (even with the hate he gets). They have all been outstanding and some of the best players in the league so deserve the highest club accolade.
 
You could almost tell Schweinsteiger as going to mess his penalty up as he was shaping up to hit it.

Drogba on the other hand, he didnt pause, just ran up hit it, boom, goal, champions league thank you very much. Never looked like he wasnt going to score that.

Still a bit shocked as to how Chelsea won last night lol. Bayern must be kicking themselves so hard when they had the game bagged and tagged with less than 10mins to go...But somehow Chelsea managed to score one back to tie the game up and taking it into ET.

Robbens penalty...shouldnt the ref have told him to take it again as some knobber ie a Chelsea fan most probably threw a beach ball onto the field??. Dont know if that hindered him but surely the ref saw that and by all means should have told Robben to take the penalty again. As i said previously a lot of luck for Chelsea last night in them winning the CL.

Again im firmly of the belief that Chelsea didnt deserve to win the CL especially moreso on penalties....penalties really is the worst way to decide a game imho. Should have just kept playing, either team would have scored in all honesty:p.

But despite that Bayern had so many chances to score but failed to, guess its difficult when you have all your men behind the ball lol. But still like Barca, Bayern were out-defended by Chelsea...shame Bayern couldnt defend a corner which resulted in Chelseas goal.

Just noticed that Bosingwa and Lampard did their best to block Terry - who apparently was wearing shinpads?! - out of the trophy presentation. My respect for them has increased tenfold. :D
