UEFA Champions League Final Man City v Inter Milan ** spoilers ** [Saturday 10th June 2023 @ 8pm]

Imagine being a football fan and supporting a club that cheats its way to a treble

Apart from Liverpools first game against Milan, I’ve always cheered for the English teams. Even in that game it was hard to grudge them the win. Anyway gotta get my shirt ready and get to Manchester for the bus parade. At least it won’t be too crowded.

as a man utd fan, seeing players lift and win these massive competitions, always brings a tear to my eye. Its great to see these young men perform, entertain and end up with one of the most coveted trophy. Well done City, dodgy dealing aside. I'm just looking forward to hearing that theme tune on Wednesdays again next season. Or is it Tuesdays?, its been that long I can't remember.

They'll be on for the double treble next season now
Nah I don't think they'll do it again. There's a reason these things are super, super rare.

Doesn't really matter how good you are, cup competitions are just way more random than league position. Random probably isn't the right word, but you know what I mean.

City are a bit like an AI robot winning things, it doesn't really evoke much emotion for most people.

It's a lot worse seeing Liverpool or even Arsenal winning things, nobody really cares about City.

Not the players fault of course, well done to them, they are a very effective side.
Agree but the crying from United fans is amusing..

Funny thing is people only cheering city because they have some weird obsession and hatred for United.

It's really not i don't think, people can just appreciate a good sporting achievement. If United did the treble, you'd find the same people congratulating City doing the same with United

Scott Carson is definitely going to be the answer to a load of quiz questions in the future. I can't imagine there's many players that have 2 CL winners medals, 18 years apart and both won in the same City.
