So you honestly think Lampard is a world class midfielder and would get into most people's world class 11 ?

I don't think Lampard, for an attacking midfielder is anywhere near the level of Kaka, Gerrard, Scholes (at his peak, less so now) Fabergas, Inesta, Van De Vart, Messi, Riquelme ( at his peak, less so now)
Are a few attacking midfielders I'd have over Lampard in a heart beat, it's not that I don't like Lampard ( I don't like him ) I just think, there are much more complete attacking midfielders in the world.
Edit, I'd probably take Arshavin over Lampard, Ballack is a good attacking midfielder, Essien is, Deco was.
Thats because he plays in a very good midfield, if you put Kaka or Gerrard in his postition, **** me they'd destroy teams.

Lampard isn't a World Class midfielder, sorry he's just a very good midfielder.
And while I say Ballack is past it, he's still a very good midfielder, Essien is a beast, Mikel is a good midfielder.
Lampard wouldn't get near my starting 11, He's a good player, I doubt he'd even be in my Premiership 11.
So i back up my point with statistics and you just give me your opinion?

Gerrard has scored more goals then Lampard
Robin Van Persie has just as many assists
Gerrard only has 3 less Assists, but more goals.
After playing considerably more games
Gerrard's better than Lampard and that's a fact not an opinion
Frank Lampard - 34 appearances, 10 assists, 12 goals.
Steven Gerrard - 27 appearances, 7 assists, 13 goals
So in less appearances, Gerrard has score more and only had 3 less assists ?

"Having four days' rest before games is certainly helping us. You saw the energy levels in the second half against Tottenham so there is nothing wrong with the energy.
"That augurs well for the game but Arsenal are fresh as well so it will be a real tussle."

Dont give us the "its not about goals" tripe, i know that but to say he's average is just comical! He's about the most complete box to box midfielder in the world.
Cant understand how people are comparing him to Kaka aswell, totally different type of player. It really disheartens me that he doesnt get the credit from the neutrals like he should, theres a lot of Fat Frank bashing and he's the most model professional in the modern game atm!
He happens to play in a very good side, he's a good player nothing more.

I've not said Lampard doesn't score, I've not said he doesn't get assists, but he's in my opinion a good player nothing more. I don't get all the ranting about him from Sky / Chelsea fans.
Kaka is an attacking midfielder, Lampard is, Gerrard is, Fabergas is, Scholes is... ect ect, Lampard isn't as good as kaka, Gerrard, Fabergas, Arshavin... would you have him in your "world best 11"
