Yeah, Utd are starting with 2 goalkeepers and 19 outfield players. Should be a walk in the park tbh.![]()
Says it all really.![]()
I'm not sure if I want Silvestre or Gibbs. Silvestre has been pretty terrible, but that was in the middle, where he won't be tonight, and it's not like Gibbs has been Mr. Reliable, other than his surprising knack for hacking goal-bound balls off the line. I'd almost be tempted to think Sagna on the left with Eboue right might be our best option.
What on earth are you on about hes been just as good, if not better than Gerrard this year.....as usual....![]()
I'm glad your keeping that first post updated Tummy, I always love to take a step back and re-read the first post every now and then![]()
To be fair, Chelsea did a good job last night.
It was incredibly boring though.
But to take a 0-0 from the Nou Camp back to Stamford Bridge is great for them.
oh and souness is a know nothing *going to take a chance on the auto sweary here* ****.
They are now at home. You can't underestimate that advantage.
They went to one of the hardest places to play football and come out of it with dignity left in tact. The did just that.
And now, unscathed, look forward to bringing them back to London.
Any fan who appreciates more than just ultra attack would agree. Chelsea kept out a very good Barca side.
He did that a lot at Spurs.
But of course when you're tagged with a characteristic by the media, that's all the fans see.
His first touch really is fantastic as well.
Could Clichy have done any more than Gibbs did?
I thought Gibbs put in a performance beyond his years.
I think me and you should maybe start ignoring each others posts
he's what 19? Playing in a champions league semi final and had Rolando and Rooney to deal with? The whole of the arsenal defense looked pretty shaky in the first half.
Also can anyone else explain to me why Tevez got booked? It looked like a 50-50 ball that he had every right to go for and even pulled out as best he could.
I thought Gibbs was quite good. Walcott and Nasri were useless however, Nasri in particular I barely saw. Felt sorry for Adebayor, every time he won a header it just went straight to a United player because there was no team mate anywhere near him.
