UEFA Cup semi-final thread **Spoilers**

i loved real radio tonight with all the tunes...

celebrate good times. come on :D

I have to say IT4 english commentry has been awesome and amazing all through this tournament, where as stv had that ****** who is well past it.
That english commentator is amazin.

they also did all the house work for the people of seville before they left and cleaned their cars.:)

pmsl :D

Manchester will never have seen anything like it before.

Last night, my two brothers, brother in law and 4 nephews were all making plans for manchester. Out of all of us watching, only i have a season ticket and go to the games here in scotland. The rest of them are armchair fans.

Not anymore.

I imagine this scenario will be common whereby closet Rangers fans will ascend en masse on Manchester. Fans who rarely or never really go will make the effort. Just like my family.

The authorities should consider opening Old Trafford for the Rangers fans without tickets for the city Stadium.

The M74/M6 is going to be one long traffic jam.

Happy days. Oh and timothy is welcome to the SPL title as long as we beat Zenit. ;)

Some pics to enjoy of the last few moments.

Ignacio Novo, a true Ranger.

Begrudging congratulations to Rangers. You will have won no plaudits for how you got to the UEFA cup final, but got there you have.

I'm not going to call it a diddy cup, because celtic fans were immensely proud of their clubs achievements in getting to seville, and so you guys deserve to be too.

Wattie has worked wonders considering what most of that squad was capable of under Le Guen.

I'm not going to say I wish you luck in winning the thing, but I hope any of you travelling down to the game really enjoy yourselves and do your club and Scotland proud.

record number of away fans. currently 80k held by Celtic.

I doubt Rangers will take that many fans to Manchester, its not like going to a game abroad where you are there for the sun as well.

Kelpie - Your post summed whats wrong with scottish football when you cant even bring yourself to wish Rangers good luck in winning it, the old firm fans dont half embarass us as a nation.

First European Final in over 30 years?

And you are telling me that as a football fan, if your club makes it to the UEFA cup final AND it's taking place down the road (as opposed to somewhere like Mosco where you need VISAs) and you won't try and get tickets? You kidding me?

Pretty disgraceful post to be honest, no doubt your family will end up taking tickets for the final away from fans who have been to lots of european games this season, the glory hunters will be out in force.

You watched the game with 7 people of which you reckon they will all go to the final, if you are all from Blantyre, you would be better going to see Hamilton, i guarantee it will be a more rewarding experience in the long run.

Im saying they wont take anywhere like the 200,000 that someone said, its a ridiculous figure.

I think you'll find he meant they will all be travelling to Manchester he didnt say they would have tickets. Only travel club members will get a chance of a ticket for the Final the Uefa ballot has already taken place so if they got it from there they will have been lucky (note UEFA ballot is open to anyone) Thats how some Celtc fans as posted earlier in the thread have a ticket for the final.

I know, i bought tickets for the final myself, which i will take great pleasure in selling at a great profit to some gullable glory hunter.
