Easy to blame the manager but this has been happening for years - play well in qualification but don't turn up in the tournaments.

We're the opposite of Germany, they dont take friendlies and qualification all that seriously and look average, then when the tournament comes they turn it on

When I used to play FIFA against someone who wasn't very good.

What I'd do is not attempt to make a single tackle or use sprint and see whether they could score a goal.

That is basically what a team needs to do against England. They would lose the ball eventually without showing any threat on goal.

Conclusion : haha! We were SO bad.

All I could see was Iceland scored an equaliser, England were shell shocked from there and then just gave up. We were crap there on in, running the ball into trouble, passing terrible, hitting set pieces over every player and out.

Generally really really poor.

Iceland in the other hand played brilliantly. Well defended and showed passion.
