UEFA Euro 2016 - Round of 16 **spoilers** (25th - 27th June)

We desperately needed the likes of Kane and Alli to bring their club form into this tournament for us to have a chance, and they (along with virtually everyone else) didn't deliver.

Fact is if you are struggling to score you need to be tight at the back and we're incapable of keeping clean sheets.

Jesus this waffling about pressure, **** that, these blokes get paid millions they should be able to take mountains of pressure.

You can see the passion Ian Wright has even now, you don't see it from any of the others. Frankly that's the root of the problem, these players don't give a ****, they're happy with their domestic paychecks and that's all that matters to them.

Time for Rooney to retire from international football.

Either this or get reported as being "dropped" if we actually get someone decent in charge.

Roy has had his time too. Tactics and choices aren't good enough, but a lot of those on the pitch will have to be accountable too. Second time Hart has done that.

Exactly. Like a bunch of faceless names running around or sitting there spouting nonsense. Utter ****!

Hodgson receiving zero criticism here at FT. Pundits always seem absolutely petrified to criticise English managers. It's all one big good 'ol boys club.

Ian Wright? He thinks England are good.

He was bigging them up until today.

Only yesterday he was saying he fancied England's chances against Germany in the semi finals. Assumed England would play France and give them a good game.

You know what I think it is. I don't think there's any pride there. Real pride. You see it with every other team. To our players it's just an excursion from league play where they show the A game.

I disagree. If they didnt give a **** they would just retire from international football.

I don't get what they were doing at all - 80% of the play wasn't making progress, wasn't feeling out the other team probing or to see how they'd react, etc. it was just shuffling the ball around like no one knew what to do.

Yeah, it was shuffling the ball around the back too. We had loads of possession but a lot of the time it was in our own half!

Why would you criticise though? We've had a great list of managers!

Sven, Wally with a Brolly, Postman Pat, Woy "The Owl"...
