Really poor quality tournament in general to be honest, disappointed that Croatia are out, despite tonight they're s much better team to watch than both!

This tournament as a whole has been dull as dishwater unto now, the idea of having third placed teams going through has proven terrible.. How can Croatia win their group, Portugal come third and yet Portugal are there in the quarters. I'd hope they'd revert for subsequent tournaments but I know it'll never happen. More games means more revenue I guess.

Yep, can't exactly have 32 teams either as you'd have the likes of Georgia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Finland and god forbid Scotland qualifying.

Yeah still dont understand the 24 team entry - if you are good enough to get into the quarters of the Euros final then you should be good enough to qualify within the old 16 spots

That and I think there's been too many games. Starting to get burned out.

Plus with the old 16 team format you didn't need to have 2pm kick-offs... missing games because you're at work.

The old format was much better.

That's just it, they should have kept it to the old 4 groups of 4.. The format is terrible, some group winners playing third placers, some playing runners up, runners up playing runners up.. I know it's down to teams messing up but look what an abomination that the head to head rounds look, one half is rubbish the other has all the big nations...
