Well doubt we're going to host a tournament again soon, shocking behaviour all round
The thing is that we host other sports so well. The Olympics was great, Wimbledon is great, cricket is great, Twickenham is always fantastic. I love football but there's something that it encourages in fans that's just terrible

He has had hardly any minutes, look what he does for mancity, class.

No idea how he would have played with more minutes but Man City play very differently to this England team. We are basically a poor imitation of a Mourinho team.

You've got to look at the demographic that follow it.

What seems to be missing is that England were proactively crowding and intercepting Italy players in the first half but this half they're more or less standing around.

Its tribalism, an us (those in shirts of colour x) versus them (those in shirts of colour y) mentality. The Olympics, Cricket, Wimbledon, even the Rugby, doesnt have the tribalism of football. Football is almost like gangs facing off against each other, with both gangs having fanatical members.

Yeah I get that, but I'd be interested to know what it is about football versus, say, rugby which encourages that
