If Eriksen has had a cardiac arrest due to a sudden abnormal heart rhythm, there’s still a good chance he’ll play again. Some of those conditions can be quite easily fixed with a cardiac ablation or protected against with an ICD.

Sure, the guy was unwell, but he gave his blessing. He was in camp with them, knows how hard his squad have all worked, how hard it would be to add another game to the schedule, and how important it is for them all to play.

Nah mate, he was just unwell apparently.
Didn't that happen to what's his name 4 - 6 years ago? He died on the pitch for 2 - 4 minutes and somehow a medic from the stands part of the crowd came to his aid and they miraculously got him alive without any brain damage. He had to retire from football abruptly if I remember correctly as it left a weakness to his heart?
