Didn't that happen to what's his name 4 - 6 years ago? He died on the pitch for 2 - 4 minutes and somehow a medic from the stands part of the crowd came to his aid and they miraculously got him alive without any brain damage. He had to retire from football abruptly if I remember correctly as it left a weakness to his heart?
Fabrice Muamba. Also a Spurs player.

Yes I know Eriksen plays for inter, but he’s still synonymous with Spurs.

I would say that it most likely will be. I know of several cases where athletes have suffered cardiac arrests during games but survived but have then retired from playing due to the increased dangers of keep playing professionally.

This stuff happens in the military as well. In training they get pushed hard so that stuff like this surfaces. Then if it does they get medically retired as it's too risky to carry on.

I think just last season in the NHL (or 2 seasons ago) Jay Bouwmeester in the St Louis Blues suffered a cardiac arrest during the game. He did survive but didn't play again and officially retired in the beginning of this season.

I also think that there would now be insurance issues for Eriksen if he would continue to play.

Any important games gonna be on itvhub? Jeez what an awful service. Can't even watch Live TV with the app on LG or Sony TVs.

720p? After going from the UHD stream on the BBC, it is like watching 480p on a big screen. The artefacting is ridiculous.

Even NowTV with 720p is much better.

I think ITV have optimised their codec to only work for still scenes. Doesn't look so bad in the studio.

I think ITC have optimised their codec to only work for still scenes.

Since swapping from Intel to Ryzen i can't even watch Itvhub as weirdly it crashes my pc. Although works fine with Iplayer, I have to watch itv using the STV stream. Also had same issue with BT windows app.

It's depressing how far behind ITV are.

Sadly, England vs Scotland is an ITV game, so no UHD for that.

It's a 50/50 split between BBC and ITV for the group stages.
